Just what DVD are you trying to backup? Look in My Computer, Program Files, Ahead, Nero and then Nero History. Find the log file of the bad burn and cut and paste it in a reply here, edit out your serial number.

Try slowing it down to 4x, and see if this works. Also cannot find what kind of media you are using. Make sure you are using good media such as Verbatim, Sony, Maxell or Fuji.

Try closing down some of your programs running in the background, there is not much memory here for Nero to work with.
