Hello,

I am having a promblem with the pass through feature of my Sony HC40 camcorder. I am passing through from my VCR to my HC40 to my PC. I am using My DVD software.

I have been able to pass through several samples of commercial tapes from the VCR via my HC40 to my PC and all has gone well. The problem is, when I pass through a homemade VHS tape I end up with only audio and no video. Since I am able to pass through the commercial tapes I feel my connections and cables should be Ok.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone would offer advice on how to correct this problem.
