Hi everyone and thanks for reading. I hope I'm posting this in the right area, it seemed like it was. I have Windows Media Center and love it. I have burned tv shows after recording them using Media Center. Last night I recorded a movie off HBO and tried to burn in today, again using windows media center and received a message teling me it was License Protected. This seems really strange since people can record right off the tv to a vcr with no problem. Anyway does anyone know if there is a way around this ? Also I did some research and found this info on a Windows site.....

Note: Some movies or TV shows are marked as protected when they are recorded. Because of this, you may not be able to add them to a CD or DVD. The terms of the content protection are determined by the content owner, broadcaster, or originator. For example, you may not be able to burn some shows or movies that you recorded from a premium channel, to a DVD that you can play on other DVD players. Instead, you may need to back up shows that you recorded from premium channels onto data DVDs that will play from your Media Center computer.

*****Does anyone know if I make a data DVD will that work on my home DVD player ? Thanks so much for any help anyone can offer. It really is appreciated.
