Hi Guys.

I have a folder (my itunes music folder) which has thousands of subfolders. I want to be able to extract all the music so it is in one place. Is this possible?

not quite sure what you are asking?I have a music folder which I use as a share folder for other D/L sites.If you have made a lot of folders try opening the main one then a sub drag and drop into main folder.Then delete the sub folder continue until you have all in one folder hope that helps.If from D/L sites make sure you select the main folder when D/L as destination folder

what i mean is this

.itunes-----artist(folder)-------album(folder)------01song.mp302song.mp3
.................artist(folder)-------album(folder)------01song.mp302song.mp3
.................artist(folder)-------album(folder)------01song.mp302song.mp3
.................artist(folder)-------album(folder)------01song.mp302song.mp3

i just wondered if it was possible to scan through the main(itunes) folder, for all the mp3 files(like in search) but actually extract them into another folder. Anyone?

I don't have much experience with the iPod but what you could do is this:
Click Start > Search > For Files Or Folders > Pictures, Music, or Video > Use Advanced Search Options > Tick the box which says Music > Where it says "Look In" Go to the bottom option which should be browse and then locate your iTunes music folder > Click on More Advanced Options > Tick Search Subfolders > Then Start the Search > Once the search has finished highlight all your music files and then click "Edit" then "Move To Folder" and choose which folder you want them moved to.
