I have decrypted numerous dvds using decrypter in file mode and dvd shrink to size it down. However, lately after shrink encodes the image and decrypter starts up and attempts to "write lead in" it never does anything it retries about 30 times and then gives me the error message:

I/O Error!

Interpretation: Check Condition

Interpretation: Write (10) - Sectors: 0-31

Interpretation: Invalid Feild in Parameter List


I have tried different media and still the same results. I thought i was using bad media but ive tried two differnt kinds and they all seem to work fine on my girlfriends computer.
Could someone help me figure this out

Have you checked the firmware version for your burner? Visit the last link in my sig block and see if there may be an updated firmware. That might assist in your problem.

That's just to let you know that your burner doesn't like that disc. updating your firmware may cure the problem(s). Sometimes that might not work and I suggest that you get quality blanks to burn.

My Iomega burner (with the latest firmware) goes berserk whenever it reads CMC MAG discs... Using quality discs can help minimize errors/creating coasters...
