If I purchase the serial for ANYDVD can I transfer it to my 'DVD backup' computer that is not connected to the internet "for reasons not specafied" or do I have to connect my 'backup' download,install,buy the serial, and then reconnect later to upgrade?

You can save the reg file to a disc and use it on multiple PCs that you own.

Lifetime upgrades according to the site. If you have the registered version on your computer and download and install the new version the new version will recognize and accept the registration key.

It did on mine anyway. All I did was install it.
