Hello I was just wondering if my dell 4700 with 6800 video card can be hooked up with my Sony Wega. heres the description:

Is there an s-video output on your card? That would be the easiest option to hook the two together. If you want sound to your tv you would need an adapter to run from your sound cards output to the audio input to your tv. Once you have them all connected, right click your desktop>>properties>>settings>>advanced. From there you should be able to enable your tv. If it gives you a dual monitor option select that so you have the images on both your monitor and tv. Depending on your card (Nvidia or Ati) you may have to make a few adjustments to may the screen viewable on your tv. Also make sure your screen resolution is 1024x768 or less. Usually 800x600 is the best. Also make sure you have the most updated graphics driver installed. Hope this helps.

theres another option that i think would work...u get the is a dvi to component adapter i think this would look better then s-video. u can try to hook up ur pc to ur tv by s-video but i am saying it will not look as good... i havent tried this dvi to component adapter but if u want u can try it and give me a update i also looking to do it but i dont have a tv that support component yet so yea... hope this help
