Hey ive been searching for a way to download files more quicker on bitcomet and its so damn slow i only get 30kb for some files and that is slow for me i should be getting 700kb max but i think around 100-200 mark would be nice i've got 512k cable internet im not behind a router i've got sygate personal firewall. plz help

And how exactly would you be getting 700 kb on a 512 kb line may I ask??

You wont be getting more than 70 KB ever, that is your max download speed.

OK, so you OBVIOUSLY dont have a 512 kb line you have more like a 6 Mbit line....read the guide....

Let me know your secret im on 512 and dont get that much, on bitcomet i usually max out at 55kB/s i have a router havent done anything to forward it and get that speed. What is your upload speed?

i have 512k im sure of it ok maybe your connection is 512k dsl with is 15 times faster than dialup and cable is 100 times faster ok.. im sure of it optus dosent have a 6 mb connection

www.bitsoup.org - A good site with a fair bit of torrents
www.midnight-torrents.com - Not the best, but the people there are great :)
www.torrentit.com - one of THE BEST SITES i have ever been on :)
www.supertorrents.org - INVITE NEEDED, another good site :)


Where do you live??? Optus in australia i think only has 1.5 connection.

OK, i would seriously like to know how you are getting 700 KB on a 512 kb line, you must be CIA or something ;)

I have 9 mbit line and get 1.1 MB/s.....
