Please help.

DVD +R (data DVD with avi movies on it).
IBM Thinkpad T40.

Here's the issue. This DVD plays just fine on my home PC's with no problems whatsoever. But, when I attempt to play it on my IBM laptop, it doesn't even read any of them. It only says that there is an Audio CD, when I open the contents, it displays; "Track36.cda"

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

try to upgrade your dvd firmware ... or yr dvd rom simply cannot understand the media

Why don't you change the AVI movies to a different format. Your laptop most likely can't read the format except for that track.
There is good software on this site for that.

Divx to dvd will change the avi format to a dvd compatable format.
