i have tried all of these and only azureus is fast, but it takes up way too much memory, bitlord average=11kb/s, azureus average=27kb/s, bitcomet average=12kb/s, utorrent average=9kb/s.

i have read through loads of guides on here but to no avail.

i have a 1mb cable connction, windows xp sp2(patched), i do not have a router (my modem isnt a router either)

i have sygate personal firewall installed, (this is a new install after being told that the xp firewall is rubbish) i will run it overnight, with sygate disabled and xp firewall enable to see what happens.
