i'd like to change my winxp autoplay settings so that when i insert a blank cd/dvd into my burner, nero express will automatically open. however, there doesn't seem to be any way for me to add programs to the autoplay list. does anyone know how to do this?

i'm using xp home edition (sp2). maybe adding programs to the autoplay list is only a pro feature?

Some time ago, a member by the name of kedirekin made a registry hack to allow DVD Shrink to be displayed in the "Auto Play" pop up window. I did it, it wasn't real hard. I would imagine you could accomplish what you are wanting to do with this method.

You have do to modify the registry, which can be very dangerous! Make a backup of your current registry if you decide to do this.

Just remember, your doing it for Nero Express, not DVD Shrink. Just make sure the path is correct.

Go here to learn how to do it: http://www.dvdshrink.info/autoplay.php
