Ok I got 2 new 512 ddr2 400 pc3200, when I put them in and start up it just keeps rebooting itself over and over again. Is there any way to stop it from doing that? When I turned it off, and turned it back on i pressed F1 and it says it's installed,

It goes like this:

Bank1 256 ddr2 400 pc3200 (old)
Bank2 512 ddr2 400 pc3200 (new)
Bank3 256 ddr2 400 pc3200 (old)
Bank4 512 ddr2 400 pc3200 (new)

I previously had 2 256 ddr2 400 pc3200 in, I have 4 slots to put them in, do I need to take the old ones out and keep them out or can they stay in.

Right now I have them out with the old ones still in, awaiting an answer, can someone please help thanks.

Try taking the old ones out and see if you have the same problem.
