Nero 7 Disappears CDR/DVDR drives

I upgraded from nero 6 to 7 today and all my cd and dvd drives (4 in total) disappeared. Device manager still shows the devices under dvd/cd-rom drives. All of them have the yellow exclamation mark next to them and the message is: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)". Windows explorer shows no optical drives. I unistalled and reinstalled the drives from device manager but they still won't work even after windows redetects them.

So I uninstalled Nero 7 and of course the drives did not come back.
I used that Nero cleaning tool without any success either.

I did notice that during installation Nero 7 gave me a message that said it had had to change the high and low filters whatever those are.

Any ideas?
