Hi All

Have just received my PSP today, and it's a 1.51, I seen Tutorials to Downgrade to 1.50 to play Homebrew.

However do i need to Upgrade to 2.0 First and if so does it have to be v2.0 Jap or Can it be any.

Just want to make sure as i dont want to "BRICK" my new PSP

I recommend updating to jpn v2.0, just in case. Firmwares do have slight differences (in code at least), but basically all psp's have the same hardware. And yes, you do need to upgrade to v2.0 before you can downgrade.

Anybody knows where can i find the upgrade file to v2.0 so i could downgrade my psp to v1.5 . I also have japanese version of PSP with v.151 . I do not understand the japanese website.
