I don't know what to tell you...

Save perhaps to read, read some more, and then READ IT OVER AGAIN!

If managed to update to Firmware v2.0 and not to anything higher! then you should have placed the Two Files 'index.dat' and 'h.bin' on the Root of your MemoryStick. The Root Menu is the One where you may or may not see the Directory for your Film Clips! But, at the least this should contain both the PSP Directory and the MEMSTICK.IND File. That is the Root!

The 'overflow.tif' File would of course go into the Pictures Submenu of the PSP Direcotry. You'd execute the Hack by then going to your Pictures Menu on the XBM (i.e. Dashboard), on your PSP. Now your PSP should be read out as a v1.0. Sadly for you it's still a v2.0! So no your not done yet. Not done by a longshoot!

Having set the PSP to beleave ~it is a v1.0~ will not give you v1.0 advantages, as such. It will however allow you to update / downgrade your PSP back to v1.50. You'll need to find the v1.50 Eboot.pbp File and then in your PSP Directory you'll need to create a new Subdirectory called UPDATE. You'll then need to move that v1.50 Eboot.pbp File into that UPDATE (it must be ALL IN CAPS!),.

Then you can (should be able to), start, the Update by going to Game on the XMB and then down to MemoryStick to start the Update, to v1.50.

Hello, Ichijoe im not an idiot, i have done EXACTLY that. But the eboot file NEVER worked, the psp saw it was an update and when i pressed it it said update is corrupt or some crap like tht, so i used the coded arms which has the 1.5 update in it to change firmware, and it worked sucessfully and i had a 1,5 version psp, but then when i tried to use my copied games, which i have the original 2 ( ;) ) , it never lets me, but the psp CAN read the emulator and it can see the ISO file, it just doesnt load !! Oh and hollowtip, tell your mum i said thanks for last night.

Ok then I take back my last comment then.

Perhaps just for futures sake you'd like to make those references a bit clearer.

As for getting Homebrew Apps to work on v1.50 you need to look for a Program called Kxploit or SeiPSPtool. The v1.0 was able to load just the One Eboot.pbp File. But since Firmware v1.50 you have to have Two *.pbp Files (ex: Rin & Rin%; for the RIN Gameboy Color Emulator),. You would use the Rin Folder to store your ROMs', while the Rin% Folder would just have a copy of the Eboot.pbp, in it.

Yea no problem Ichijoe, sorry for the misconvienience, should have made it clearer, sorry.

p.s hollowtip, "dis guys a loser" Says he draping around a forum looking to insult people.
1) There is such thing as faulty PSP software, when i try and run some software on it, it says data is corrupt, now to my intelligance corrupt and faulty have more or less the same meaning, but from a guy using "dis" to correspond to "this"...you may have a differant logic.

2) Dude, please...how the hell would u know if ive seen pussy be4, i mean, what the fuck !

But since this is a friendly forum, and, presumably, a friendly atmosphere, i apolagise to hollowtip even though you insulted me first for no apparent reason, and am sorry for causing any misleading insults of any nature.
