everything i have done to hte psp, everything, from when i had to do the memory stick swap, to the relaease of kxploit,, its all gone, all,, because of GTA, im now,, a 2.0 psp firmwire user =( but HEY! GTA IS AWESOME!

Just keep all apps because you can downgrade it back to v1.50 and install them again. Enjoy your GTA. Cheers

y dont you just put wab changer on ya psp then downgrade ya psp then ya psp thinks its a vershon 2.00 when its really 1.5 not that hard you know all simple i have done it its good at getting back at psp trying to out smart the people but thay faild again.

How do you use wab changer? What does the wab changer do? What is the use of wab changer?
I have seen it somewhere but I never know what it does. It is great if I can swap the firmware v1.50 and v2.00 at anytime on my PSP.

The WAB (or other), Firmware Changers will not I repeat WILL NOT WORK WITH GTA:LCS

Why? Well it was at first thought to have something to do with the h.264 Video and AAC Audio CODECS. This theory has since been debunked! The problem is that GTA:LCS has been encrypted with S0NY's v2.0 *.prx Files. As such thoes Files can not be decrypted with a PSP that only has the valid *.prx Library for v1.50.

It's that simple...

You can not use GTA:LCS on PSP v1.50 and you can not run the ISO on a v2.0. What to do...?!?

How about ya get off your duff and swing by you Wal-Mart and actually buy the Game! So long as you don't install anything higher then the v2.0 Update, you should be fine! Once your done with GTA:LCS you can then reuse the MPH Downgrader (.tif Hack), to downgrade back to v1.50 again...

it worked for me i put my GTA LC in my psp today and upgraded my psp then i put wab changer on then i downgrader on and it still works and all my games on my memory stick still works

Ummm.....

WOuld you care to explain just how you managed to get the Wab Version Changer to work on a PSP with v2.0 installed? It could be that you're the Guy who discoverd a way to run Homebrew on v2.0!

The upshoot of couse beeing that YOU CAN'T!!!

Ok even still how in the name of Hell did you get your copy of GTA:LCS to even work on a v1.50?? Ya must be some kind of Coding God Sir!

Because GTA:LCS will only work on PSP's? that have at the least the real Firmware v2.0 installed on 'em. Firmware Changers WILL NOT WORK, because no matter what the PSP may report itself out as beeing. It'll still be a v1.50 with only the Libaray v1.50 *.prx Files. When in order to play GTA:LCS you need to have the *.prx Libaray v2.0 (or higher), installed.

Upshoot you need to have Firmware v2.0+ installed on your PSP? in order to even play it! Or you'll get the 'Can not decode' Error Message on your PSP?. You can not run the *.iso Immage either because Firmware v2.0 will only allow you a 64kb access to the User Space. When Fastloader and Co., requre full access to the Kernal Space.

So Sir I'm calling you out and politely ask you to cut the BS!

There's currntly no problem in updateing to v2.0 (so long as it's ONLY v2.0!), to play GTA:LCS and then to latter on downflach back to v1.50. However you can not have your Cake (GTA), and eat it (Homebrew), too!!!
