Hey guys,
I'm having a problem getting my backup dvds to burn correctly. This is the message I get back from DVD Shrink:

- you're burning too close to outer edge of discs. If you use DVD Shrink, set target size to 4300MB in Shrink's preferences thus avoiding outer edge and not sacrificing much space

- oh God, you're using some of the most awful, atrocious utter rubbish dvd media there is. get decent media, and glance at my signature for reasons not to use CMC media

I think I'm getting closer to a solution here but I'm still having burn error problems. Since my last post I have upsated my ASPI layer to 4.71, updated to the latest version of Nero 6.6.0.16, updated my DVD Recorder to the latest firmware V.0151, switched the DMA on if available for both the primary and secondary IDE channels, set the target size to 4300MB in DVD Shrink, and using Sony DVD-R media instead of CMC junk. This is my latest burn error report:

DMA is still off, DMA needs to be on for everything
