Firstly, how do you sell a PC you don't trust?

Basically I have a PC that's been semi-wrecked by a Power surge, and rather than keep moaning about it, I need to get something done about it.
The system is failing to POST (and therefore need resetting) more and more now, and eventually I'm worried that it's not going to POST at all.
So basically I need another PC, which of course I can't afford because I've only rcently spent all my money on this one.
How is the best way of selling this system for maximal return?

Secondly, what do people think of this deal:

Athlon64 3500+ Socket 939 (The extra £104 for a 3800+ doesn't seem worth it and they don't give you the option of a 3700+)
1GB PC3200 RAM
512MB X1800XT GPU (That's causing me to salivate already)
2x 200GB Hitachi Deskstar in RAID0
DVD+/-RW DL
DVD-ROM
Floppy disk & Memory card Reader
380W PSU and Coolermaster Centurion 320 case
Foxconn mATX 939 Motherboard
XP Home OEM
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 LS

£1064 including delivery

No I'm buying the whole system new. I'm not building it either, it's a prebuild. I'm fed up of building things myself.

The problem board is the MSI MS-6775 in my sig. They're not the same socket but they don't have to be.

I appreciate the help, but I'd like to clarify the situation:

The PC IS at present the only PC that I own.
However, in the short term i may soon be acquiring another unit, and then selling what is salvageable of this one. I am not willing to replace anything unless it is cheap and absolutely necessary. Therefore I need to try and identify what I won't be able to sell.

(you're welcome rugripper)
I'm reluctant to update the BIOS since the problem only started after I had the power surge...
