Converting IBM thinkpad tft to desktop lcd screen

I took appart my IBM thinkpad and took out the tft monitor. The monitor is 12.1 size and labeled as ITSV50F. I want to find a controller to convert it and i found a good site but since I have never done this before I don't know if it would work with the monitor that i have. Along with that if anyone had any ideas on how to actually attach the controller with monitor that would also be very helpful.
