VfW Codec and Virtual Dub

...where do I get a VfW codec and how do I install it so that it works with Virtual Dub and gets me past the infuriating error message that i keep getting?

1) What error message?
2) Do you have DivX codecs installed?

Find out what codec is needed for this file by opening in Virtual Dub --> File --> File Information
