When I try to make a connection on my PSP through the "WLAN Settings" and i do a "Scan" it tells "A connection error has occurred. The WLAN switch is not turned on."
If someone will help me out with this that would be awsome thanks

OK so im an idiot and switched the WLAN up! Here is my question... Im in college and the school has wireless all over campus, can i get my PSP on the schools (wireless) network

any help would be awsome

go to connection settings and its simple from there on Just scan 4 an access point

I have a access point and after I test it everything looks ok but at the end of "settings list" at botton it says "Proxy Server- Do Not Use" and "Internet Browser- Do Not Start"

I can't go online. What to I have to do to change these setings to make my PSP "good to go" on-line

ok first scan find the access point do everything you need to do then leave the menu (make sure to save first) and then goto the internet browser click on it and when it comes up typ where you want to go hit ok
then a box will come up asking you what conection to use and use the one you just made and it should work. note sometimes you may need a security
number to get in

my high school just got a wifi port, and when i try to hook it up, it says something about the server , i am connected to the wifi port, because it will say i have 100% connection, and it will have the wifi's name, however i know there is a bunch of websites blocked from our school, so i am figuring that to first start web browising it needs to go to another sony server,, and i think thats preventing it from happening,, same happens with games, any other ideas?

what company is your internet connection only certain companys make you go to there home page and you dont have to go to the sony hompage at start. does i just not do anything or what? try a different site otherwise the security settings might be messed up. besides that I dont know

damn your high school must be balling, haha my high school had theater teachers teaching english, damn budget cuts. but back to the topic. i heard the internet browser on the psp sucks. is that true or what? it would seem like it is true cause sony probably just wanted to throw a web browser in there to make it more appealing. and of course the consumers we are, we hear web browser and automatically think of the psp web browser being as good as IE or mozilla but its really not. right?

My guess is about the same as X360s' It's likely that you have to have the current WEP and or WPA Key in order to connect. While it can keep innocent People like you from connecting (should you not know what the Key ~is~),. It will also deter just anyone in the Neighborhood who's looking for free Bandwith. You might want to dig thought your Syllabus with regaurds to your Campus Network...
