Ok, here's the deal: I am trying to send a friend of mine a file that's close to 400mb. The fastest way i've found is using ftp, i was using one i got from my college. Now, the college is enforcing a 20mb limit rule (at least i think anyway) because i get an error message saying " 200 Type Set to I 227 Entering Passive Mode (141,218,1,78,192,220) 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for (name of any file)" so i opted to use golden ftp server and give my friend the address to get it from, but he can't seem to connect we think because of the schools firewall. Is there an alternate method besides ftp or anything i can do to get this to work??
