Guys !!! I downloaded the .rar of Shadow of the Colossus from www.SoloPS2.com. When I opened it, it extracted into an ISO with a winrar folder icon. Is that really an ISO? Is that normal?

Then, when I opened that "ISO" - note the quotes - it gave me the following files:

1) GAMECORE.XFF
2) IOPR300.IMG
3) KERNEL.XFF
4) MANAGER.XFF
5) NICO.DAT
6) SCUS_974.72
7) SG21OPM1.IRX
8) STARTUP.XFF
9) SYSTEM
MODULES (a folder with other files)
MODULES2 (a folder with other files)

Now, do I burn the file with the ISO extension that has the winrar folder icon? If not, then what should I do?

Thanks guys !!!!

an ISO is a package of files much like a Rar file is. Your computer somehow associated the extension .iso with WinRAR. Burn it like usual and you should be fine. BTW... SotC is an awesome game. Enjoy it.

yep, you went one step too far. You don't have to open
the ISO unless you need to rebuild it. Just burn the
ISO to a DVD

Often WinRAR will associate it's will ISO files unless you specific another program to be the default ISO program. On my PC it's Ultra ISO.
