People...

Got some files on DVD (burnt as a data disc) and want to keep them safe from being copied... It's some graphic designs which i've created myself!

basically, I'm making a duplicate of the dvd for someone who's requested it! I'll happily give them a copy but i dont want them burning off copies to give to others or even sell...

is there some sort of copy protection patch i can apply to prevent it from being copied?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi shakini,

That is a very interesting question. I haven't yet seen a patch in existence that can't somehow be removed. Everytime one is created, someone almost instantly finds another way around. Not to mention that it's image protection (hardest thing to protect). You might be able to do some sort of disc protection, but what is to stop him taking screenshots of the images and then making his own disc, or opening the images in some sort of imagecopy software...

Sorry to tell you the bad news. I would be interested if someone has a fool proof idea?
