Hi I read somewhere that to increase speed using Bittornado you had to set the port range from 1000-10010 (turning off randomization) and also disabling the UPNP. Does this only apply for people with routers?

I'm using a Speedstream 5620 Modem and I'm not behind a firewall. My speed is okay.. usually around 20-30kb and sometimes goes to 100 (on the rare occassion). I'm not gungho about getting super speed knowing I'm probably getting the most I can get, but if theres a way that I'm missing, I'd appreciate the heads up. Thanks a lot.
