I'm planning to buy a PSP when I get the money, but I was wondering, has anybody here bought a regular PSP in America and recieved a firmware over 2.00? Does anybody know if Sony plans to release only 2.01 and up firmqare PSPs anytime soon? If so, I need to get it faster then.

Some People have reported that the Giga-Pak (Black or White), has shipped as v2.0. I've been on other Sites that have said that it was a v2.50. Alas I wouldn't really know 100% as I have had my Black PSP? v1.52 -> v2.0 <- v1.50 for about a Month now!

However the new Ceramic Whites' are indeed a v2.0 only affare. It was also rumord that S0NY will be shiping all new PSP? to retail in the rush up till Christmass with v2.50 preinstalled. So if there's a remote trouth to it. As there likely is! Best grab One fast!

PSP v2.50 are at stores now. So it is depend on your luck now. There are still some of v2.00 at stores. Who knows which one. Just make sure that you can return it for money back.
