because i download music and videos from ares and i put them on the psp, so should i?

watching videos, playing music and looking at pics won't really be affected by updating to 2.0. You won't however have the ability to play homebrew apps like emulators and such. You can allways downgrade back to 1.5 if you don't like 2.0. I updated to play GTA and once I was tired of it, I downgraded back to 1.5.

Yea you should stick to 1.5 unless you have something really really important that makes you upgrade to 2.00. It would be risky sometimes if you wanted to downgrade from 2.00 to 1.50 because there are some viruses that brick your PSP and are disguised as downgraders.
