Hello.

I should make a backup copy of a dvd.

I made a total ripping on HD. Now i want to rip language and sub, but DvdDecrypter cannot (i think so) use a folder as starting point. It uses only the dvd drive.

My question is: does exist a way to make dvdDecrypter to point to a selected folder instead of the dvd drive? In smartripper it is possible, but SM looses nav pack when i rip a chapter.

Hey Zanzarame,
If you have already ripped your dvd to your HD, an easy way to remove the excess language and subtitles is to use DVD2ONE.
Here is a guide on how to use DVD2ONE.

use Daemon tools to create a vitual cd rom, makes the computer think a folder on your hd is a dvd rom, very simple to use.

DVD Decrypter is just a dvd RIPPER only (ifo, vobs). The next step is what do you wan't to convert the backup dvd movie to?
1) DivX
2) VCD
3) SVCD

You can use Alcohol 120 or Daemon Tools and have a "virtual stealth drive" to just mount the image of the dvd and play the dvd without the dvd in the dvd drive= waste of time and hd space.
