Samsung Deleated Messages Code

My friend tells me that there is a code you can put into your phone which allows you to read all deleated messages and call records. She claims that this is for Samsung mobiles only, I am not sure that this is true. Does anyone have any more information about it and if so what is the code? She won't tell me because she wants to read all of my old messages (don't ask!) if there is such a code, is there a way in which you can either disable it or perhaps just to permanantley deleating messages?
