I will be hooking up our "video" capture PC to our Satalite box using a "S" video and RCA to sub mini cable, but both are 25' long and different rooms. Is/Will there be much of a signal loss thru 25' and will I need to get some sort of booster?

The PC is stable at 2.8ghz (tried 3.0ghz but not stable) and I was able to rip a movie to HD using DVDFab Decrypter, burn a movie from HD using Shrink and surf all at the same time. The Xeon's only cost $50 ea and most of the other hardware were on sale and on rebates.

Asus PC-DL Xeon, Antec Lan boy, Pioneer A107, DVD rom, Dual 1.6ghz LV's @ 2.89ghz, 4x 512 Mushkin, 2x WD 120gb hd, 2x WD 80gb Sata, XP Pro SP2, PS 500w, WinTV 250 PCI, ATI agp Video Card
