ok i really dont feel like typing so this is gonna be brief. ok ive followd the guide inside out and still my download speed is slow. i have a 2mb broadband connection, wireless network with 2 computers. router in the middle and 2 pc's with network cards. using norton firewall, portforewarded on norton and router settings. also downloaded tweaks, accellorators. hhhmmm ive tried everything. ok like 2 weeks ago when i forewarded a port on lynksys router settings i noticed my bitcomet downloads went really fast (200KB dl) and things were going all good until the other day i noticed the speed start to go o the way it was. i thought ide change port number so i did but no difference. i get like 30-40 max dl with like 70 seeds and loads of leechers. i dont get wots going on. hhhhmmm i so wish i get to srt it out again.

SOUND AS A POUND THAT I FOUND ON THE GROUND NEAR A DOG HOUND WHO LIVED IN A DOG POUND.

Just how many leechers? I remember downloading a very popular torrent; about 865 seeders and 15,000 leechers. To my surprise, I managed a poultry 15KB download speed average.

Too many leechers-to-seeders will slow things down depending on how much each leecher has downloaded.

Im sure there are other possiblities, but thats just a thought.

You know that rare phenonomon when after hours and hours and hours of troubleshooting, things just just magically work and you have no idea why? Just gotta love it! ;-)

Anthman is correct. The more peers/leechers compared to seeds the slower the downloads because each seed has to upload to many people therefore splitting their upload between all of them.

BTW, whihc guide were you using? My Bitcomet Guide?
