cant get past boot screen selection.. UGENT :'(

I don't what happened but, before i restarted the computer, while i was on it - msn messenger kept on closing by itself along with avant browser.. i checked the task manager.. there were loads of intenet explorer processes listed but these are not usually there... there were alos quite a few processes name "01Stop.exe." or something like that... They were taking up hardly any CPU...

i restarted the computer (it kept saying "no memory" - this is why i restarted)...

when it came to the bootscreen selection:

it showed me a screen which normally comes up like this but with different names (that isnt my actual bootscreen)... i selected the one i normally get through with and it freezes, nothing happens.... i dont know why... i havnt installed anything recently!!! please help anyone.. all my work is on there and I didnt back up my files etc.. plz...

man... i cant even access windows.... i told you i get stuck at bootscreen selection - not even the F8 functions work!!!

use a friend's computer with a burner to copy those programs i listed
