Whenever i copy dvd's, or create data disks from my computer. The write buffer level constantly drops to 0 , 50 , 100%. Because of this.. the burning takes longer.. the time remaining counter even reaches 0:00 before the recording hits 80%. is this a cpu problem? software problem? hardware problem? or something else? thanks

fluctuating buffers can be a problem. check/fix your DMA settings -
