Nero Showtime messed up my DVD playback

I installed Nero 7 and now I can't watch any DVD on my computer unless I use Nero Showtime.

I have an ATI 9800 graphic adapter that I used to decode DVD's.
When I try to view with the ATI software I can see a screen for a faction of a second and then it goes black (the movie keeps playing but no picture). It?s like it's deliberately being black out.

Any ideas how to repair?
I uninstalled Nero 7 but it's still doing it.
