well i have had the projector for about 5 months and only use it to watch dvds on, it has under 500 hours used on the bulb and now it needs a new bulb that costs around £170 - £200+
after paying nearly £1000 for it 5 or 6 months ago i am not very happy.
been given a hp tech number to ring on monday so will see what happens.
in short the projecter came on but there was no signal and it just said waiting. after 5 minutes of waiting we shut it down only we had to use the main button on top as the remote would not work? after the fans had stopped we turned it back on with the remote and it worked ok, picture came on and started watching the dvd. after about 2 minutes the projector shut itself down and the red led bulb warning was just flashing.
now this is all it will do full stop.
has anyone else had any problems like this or have i just got a bad one out the batch?
after spending £1000 i would expect it to last longer than 500 hours. before i am expected to fork out another £200 for a new bulb?
