can someone help . i have a psp version 1.51 which i have now upgraded to 2.0 however i tried to downgrade to 1.5 for homebrew games but it says already upgraded no need to upgrade on the psp and wont downgrade . what shall i do . its says on the psp that it is version 2.0 so why wont it downgrade. this is a gift for my son so i really need to sort it as i have got him lots of homebrew games and films . and can anyone tell me what version they sale at argos

well basicly there is this psp downgrader out called MPH DOWNGRADER IT USES THE OVERFLOW TO MAKE UR PSP THINKING IT IS A 1.00 so then u can run the 1.50 firmware upgrade. u can get the downgrader from http://www.sonyxteam.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=3 just follow the instructions. and it onli work for 2.0 psps

it all i the instructions. put the overflow in the photo the 1.5 update in the UPDATE, the h.bin in the root

once it gets to 99% of upgrading it give u a error, this is perfectly fine just hold the power button up untill it shuts off, then turn it back on and it gives u another error, just press O or X and it should boot up with 1.50

hi . thanks i finally got there but now i need more help SORRY . how do i now download games to the psp . i have the discs but not sure how to do it and also the screen in got a browny colour not blue like it should be.

its a browny colour because the background changes colour every month. if u want help on how to put games go to the 1.50 homebrew forum

lol i actually find explaining really hard lol.
u can download psp iso games of websites. then u would need a program called fastloader to load up the isos. and u can also use fastloader to dump ur umd. u can find fastloader like almost on all psp sites. its a very simple program to use.
