Hi,

Using Nero Recode that was bundled with Nero 7 to shrink a DVD9, my problem is that when Recode has finished it's initial analysis after importing the DVD-Video files (that I first decrypted with DVD Decrypter) it says "Sorry, but this compilation exceeds your target size for burning". Now the "Fit to target" box is checked and the size is set to DVD5 but it won't allow me to proceed past this point, it has done this on several of my original DVD's, anybody have any idea's?

Recode should be able to fit to a DVD5 disk with the proper boxes checked, but if not then try using the custom setting in the DVD5 box and set it to 4300 to 4334 and see if this works.

I wrote that guide for Newbies on how to backup a dvd movie (DVD9) into a single DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R or DVD-RW disc. You'll find tons of useful links and guides/stuff in there as well.
