Removing O2 screen from 6230

Hi all. My son has just got a 6230 from his uncle which was on O2. Now he has a Orange sim card from his previous phone and put that in. We have done the unlock procedure but it still has the little O2 sign in the bottom right corner and when he turns off it. Can this bhe removed. Everything else works fine.
