Sound Card Quit Working?

Help! I dont have any sound! Yesterday i was listening to music fine, today i cannot get any sound out of my speakers! The speakers are fine they arent the problem.Mute is off, i also checked the mute on itunes,media player,my keyboard, and any place else i could think of and nothing is on mute. I reinstalled my audio drivers that came with my mb and no luck. I have integrated audio but is on a stand alone card plugged into a special pci express port on my board. Can someone tell me if its a problem with windows or if its a problem with the card?

trying to eliminate all possibilities, are they plugged in, theres not a loose wire .

do you have a spare hd to load windows on to see if soundcard problem is software or hardware. if a hardware problem than a power regulator for the speakers went on you. is motherboard still under warranty??

speakers are plugged in so thats not a problem. My mb was brand new in july so im guessing its still under warranty. Ill have to contact abit and go from there.
