i have a DVD video live concert and want to know how do i burn it on a dvd so it plays in a dvd burner and plays on a CD player where i can hear the music too..

what do i have to do to the audio part of the dvd to see the video and hear the audio in a DVD Player and when i put the DVD in a cd player to be able to hear the audio????

want audio to be heard on both cd and dvd player

do you have your DVD player (stand alone) hooked up to your stereo? If so you wont' have to rip the audio to a CD. the quality of the audio on the DVD should be digital and would be just fine to listen to as if it were on a CD (won't be any difference!). So if you burned your concert to a DVD then you can watch your concert on your tv and listen to it through the stereo. if you want to put the audio on CD then you can just rip the audio using a program like A1 DVD Audio Ripper, then burn to CD so you can listen to it on your CD player.

i didnt want to burn two discs one dvd and a cd.. is there a way to burn just one dvd where i can see and hear the show on a dvd player and then take the dvd and play it on a standalone cd player. is that possible

it all depends on your CD player........ does it play DVD audio???? I don't think so!~ I have a 5 changer DVD player that plays CDs...... but I don't think you CD player will play anything DVD unless it states so in the manual! which I doubt...... other wise it would be a DVD player that plays CDs like mine!
