This game backs up fine with just a straight iso read iso write.. and works on swap magic 3.6 brilliantly.

Just letting people know so we don't get lots of posts asking if it backs up ok.

What software did you use to make the ISO? I tried DVD Decrypter and I got some read errors, but it could be my DVD, it seems a little scuffed up.

Yeah if your disc's a little scratched and won't work with decrypter then use iso buster and rebuild the game.. sometimes isobuster will work when DVD Decrypter won't..

Yeah I got errors in that as well. The game starts to play, I havn't gone all the way through it so I don't know if it will cough up later. But I thought it was odd that game would start to play yet I have problems reading the disc on a Computer, I didn't know if they had any sort of protection.

Nope, no protection on ps2 discs. Maybe your original is just too scratched up to make a backup if it won't work with either DVD Decrypter or iso buster.. I always make my backups as soon as I get the original so that it's kept mint always... and just play my backups.
sorry can't help you more.. nothing much can be done when a game gets too scratched to backup. You could try:-

1) borrowing the game from a friend to make a backup.
2) downloading the game from torrent.
3) have the disc repaired.

good luck with it
