nero apps hang my computer help!!!

Ok, here is the problem i am having since i installed nero 7 on my computer.
Whenever i try to burn a dvd using my teac w516d drive, and have already
put a blank dvdr in my drive the burning program hangs my pc and i have to reboot to fix it. This happens both on Nero burning rom and express.
The only workaround i found was to start the burning process and the when the program asks for a blank dvd i insert it and everything goes as its supposed to.
anybody has the same problem??
Also i tried removing and reinstalling using the cleaning tool.
Also i've heard that daemon tools(i am using version 4.00) has a problem
with nero. but even if i shutdown daemon tools i still get the problem.
any suggestions??
