WARNING Newbie HERE !!!.

PSP 1.5 (DOWNGRADED < 2.0)
2GB PSP MEM DUO
UMDEMULATOR 0.8C

Dear forum guru`s, Thank you for taking the time to assist me,

Assuming I own the original psp game and I find it easier to download the game via a torrent site to load on my psps 2GB Duo Memory Card.

Once the game is downloaded it normally appears as A rar`d file
I am aware of how to use winrar to unzip my confusion start`s here do i have to extract the rar`d iso to a iso state ie still compressed ( SPIDERMAN.RAR > spiderman.iso) or do i need to extract to game to it`s folder state ie ( SPIDERMAN.RAR > spiderman.iso > VARIOUS FOLDERS).


I assume I just put the iso or folder (which ever you advise) into the PSP`S Memory card rootdirectory folder named ISO. Is this correct ?

Yea, extract the rar to get the ISO and put it in the ISO folder within the Root of the PSP. I'll assume that you know how to install Umd Emulator .8C. If not, feel free to ask.

Ignore the fact that your .iso's have a WinRAR icon (a relic of the default installation). You would rarely/never use WinRAR to handle .iso's.

1. Download torrent.
2. Run torrent with BitComet.
3. Extract RAR file with WinRAR.
4. Place Counter-Strike_Source.EUR.PSP.ripped.by.MyTH.ISO (my example) into:
ms0:\UMDEMULATOR\ISOS\*here* for UMD EMULATOR 0.8
ms0:\ISOS\*here* for UMD EMULAOTR 0.8c
ms0:\FASTLOADER for FASTLOADER
ms0:\BLAH_GAME for game-specific stand-alone booters that run PSP_GAME dirs and not ISOs where BLAH is the Game name, as named as the loader requires, read the readme
5. Congrats! You have successfully loaded an ISO onto your PSP!!! Why not have some champagne?
6. Load UMD EMU/FASTLDR/WHATEVERTEHHEELYOURUSING and load your ISO.
7. HAve FUN!!!
8. Have some more champagne, to make you forget about what i said.
