When i tried to copy 40 days and 40 nights on DVD+RW it worked..everything was good..menu, subtitles etc. But when i copied the same movie the same way on a DVD+R none of the 3 dvd players in my home played the movie, the only thing you see when you put the movie into the player is the first screen what says that this movie is copied with DVD X Copy..So i tried to copy the movie with nero from the DVD+RW to a DVD+R but i got the same problem again..even my DVD-writer in my computer can't read the DVD+R..

Does anyone know what this could be? Please help me..i'm going crazy here..

Well, the fact is that some of the players are rather picky with some of the recordable DVD formats. Whatever the studies say, I've found that DVD-R is the best recognized among the players, then comes the DVD+RW. DVD+R and DVD-RW are supported by much smaller percentage of players.

You can also try to change the DVD+R media brand to see if it helps -- very often it does.

don't use nero. use recordnow max if u have it. also you may want to remove xcopy from your comp, and re-install it. this will sometimes correct the hit/miss burns.

Also make sure you have the latest version of Nero. It was recently updated several times to help resolve compatibility issues.
