hi everyone ...everytime i wanna play on battlefield 2 i get a message that says...You have been permanetly banned from this Game Server via punkbuster...GLOBAL punkbuster HARDWARE BAN 629a9201"....can anyone tell me what the problem is i hope u can help thenx....

sounds like the game server recognized your game was a pirated copy and banned you...

There was a quote going around some gaming forums a cpl of years ago explaining the hardware bans.

Not good really, it meant something along the lines of if you mess with the PB system as well as hacking in games then they take a hash of your hardware parts, not sure what, could be mac address on NIC or other stuff and then ban it all!!

It meant you were banned from ALL PB games present and future, but by hardware, not just CD key.

Your either very unfortunate and been banned by a mistake, or you messed with PB.

ohh ok i understand but that is wear cuz is not the first time i play with a copy game...but anyway it was for a friend of my to bad for him now he need to buy a original game...thenx u all for ur help...

Maybe PB banned cuz you had some kind of cheat on the game.

Try to install another one and play again... maybe you are lucky and its only a cheat...

You dont wanna mess with PB... Normally he wins!!!
