well i decided to start this forum for everyone here

this forum will not help with psp illegally donwloaded games i like home brew and i will even discuss downgrading but i will not help anyone rip off sony

downgrader:

question: if i downgrade will i have a problem getting online with my games

answer:yes unless you live in the u.k or japan...

why:the downgrader exploit found in firmware 2.00 has a flaw once the downgrade finishes the downgrader cannot relock the onboard firmware and doesn't copy one important security instructional file to the firmware this file is to detect the online sever as a legal server and now thanks to hackers they have decided to use dnas for authorization
of psp's

homebrew:

question:if i use homebrew will my psp crash

answer:no this is a lie generated from sony so you do not try to run homebrew or non sony programs on the psp

why:because sony hates homebrew when it gives the finacially challenged people of the world the ability to play games for free

should i upgrade to firmware 2.50:

answer:yes

why:because sony is now issueing dnas on firmware version 2.50 so you now have to purchase legal software sorry

Online? Do you mean the WEB or online PLAY? If WEB... (Fired Up browser comes to mind...)

Go to 2.50? Dude, eventually they'll hack the bugger.

They've already hacked 2.50 and made an exploit, not long till we have EBOOT LOADERS, ISO LOADERS (so screw the DNAS, we'll get round that too), BFM Firmware loaders (if the EBOOT LOADERS ain't workin, we can load the 1.5 FW off the MS and when reboot, it's back to 2.5) and porbably a HACKED FIRMWARE where they get rid of the "security enhancement found in the games section" and so we can play HB 1.5 style on 2.5, or shall we say 2.51.

The Word out on the 'Net is that the next Firmware release will not be a v2.51 \ v2.52. But, in fact v3.0, It has also been rumord that S0NY? will release this on the 12th of December as well. I don't know much more about it. But, it's beleved that this Firmware will support the Macromedia Flash Player.

BTW: as for On-Line Play, are there even any Games out yet that even support Infastucture Play? (i.e. >Firmware v2.0)? I know SOCOM is perhaps one of the First, then again it's a v2.0 only affare. So what's your point?

So far of the three Games I have the all support Ad-Hoc Mode ONLY!! =(
Allthough it's not impossible to play Ad-Hoc On-Line though XLlink KAI. It is more troubble then it's worth. God knowing what kind of limmited Configuration One would need in order for it to work with the PSP?! And to those that should only be so lucky. Are left scratching there ...'s as to why Noone is in the same Room, to play Said Game with.

If there is a short list of anything worth playing On-line though a proper Infrasturcture Mode let's hear it!!
