Problem converting Real Audio to Nero Digital

Hi,
Ive been trying to convert a real audio music file to nero digital i realized that a plug in was needed in order for it to read a real audio file. However even after i downloaded the plug in it doesnt seem to be reading it. I think i might have downloaded the plug in into the wrong folder. Please let me know if that is the problem where i should be getting it downloaded to. and if it isnt what is a way around this problem. thanks very much in advance.
