when i scan for wlan on network settings it says no access points were dectected can some1 help me!!!!

Are you even in possession of an 802.11a,b,g or n Wireless Router? If not, that's your whole problem right there! An 802.3, (i.e. Wired), what your Cable(and or), xDSL Modem likw is. Does not a an 802.11a,b,g or n Router Make.

Upshot the PSP? does not like your MODEM. Time to ask Santa for a new One that actually supports the IEEE802.11a,b,g or n Wi-Fi Standard.

What they are saying is you need A FRIKKEN WIRELESS ROUTER......Silly that is the only way you can connect to the internet. You arnt going to be able to go anywere you want and have the internet at you fingertips there has to be a network around!
