My dvd burn keeps failing, and I can't figure out why. I've uninstalled/reinstalled DVDD, DVD Shrink and Nero, checked my settings, and can't figure out what's wrong. Any help would be appreciated. I have Windows XP, using a Lite-On 16x burner and TDK discs.

Below is the error log, thanks so much!

Disc Manufacturer: TTG02 -

the tdk discs you are using are very low quality, quality media is a must use verbatim, taiyo yuden, sony

looks like you have roxio on your computer, uninstall roxio then use roxio zapper to rid of it completely. just google roxio zapper

Thanks much. I had read at another site that TDK were good, guess not. And I'll get roxio off asap.

Try and free up some more memory by closing down some of your background programs, and no multi-tasking and internet while you are burning.

Thanks for the advice on the memory use.

I'm trying to get Roxio zapper to work, but I keep getting this message:

The Burning Engine has been detected and may be used by other Roxio products.

Huh? Best I can think to do is shut off the laptop, then use Roxio zapper the minute I start up again.
