Ok, I'm new here, please don't ignore me. I've 1.52 system brand new
- Downloaded EBOOT_2_0_US,
- put file EBOOT.PBP in folder PSP/GAME/UPDATE
- start my PSP, go int game->card menu, here is my 2.00 update trying to run it. gives me some bullcrap: "Cannot run the game 80020148". What am I doing wrong?

Please, I really need your answer.

You need to have your PSP pluged in to run the update!!!

If you have a wirless router it is easyer to go to Setting, then Network Update and updateing that way!!! Your PSP must be pluged in/charging to install the Update!

Emm, Am I doing something wrong? I got a Memory card, I placed EBOOT.PBP file in here [Mycard]:\PSP\GAMES\UPDATE\EBOOT.PBP

I stuck my card into my psp, pluged it for charging, batteries are full. And no I don't have wirless router... do I really need one?

PS Got 2.0 from psp-hacks

When I got my PSP it had the 1.52 firmware running on it as well. What I did was borrow the new Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories from my friend. It has the 2.00 firmware update on the UMD disc itself. I ran that update from the disc, then I followed the process for downgrading the firmware from 2.0 to 1.5. So if nothing else is working for you, you might try it that way. If you don't know anyone with the game, I think you can rent the PSP games now, so just rent it. Hope that helps.

Ok that might be the firmwere 2.0 downgrage!!! Here us the offical PSP website if you want to upgrade! And yes if you want to be able to surf the web on your 2.0 PSP you need a wireless router!
